If cab protection and safety are your primary concerns, the SAFETY RACK is the solution you need. Constructed from heavy-gauge 2" square steel frame with wire mesh made from 3/16" cold rolled steel that's fully welded for added strength and rattle-free cab protection, the Safety Rack is tonneau cover compatible with select bed cover models and offers a greater capacity for hauling ladders and longer cargo, thanks to a higher profile that clears the top of the cab. This bundle includes the BackRack Safety Rack (10800) and hardware kit (30122TB), ensuring you have everything needed for installation. The SAFETY RACK provides complete coverage of the rear window while maintaining visibility through the two-inch full robotically welded wire screen, and it's strong and rigid enough to tie to, yet easy to see through. The BACKRACK Safety Rack features a heavy gauge two-inch HRPO square steel frame that's wide enough to support a ladder or carry longer cargo, with the option to easily add brackets for mounting auxiliary lights or accessories. The job can be completed yourself with the appropriate Installation Hardware Kit, which is included. Standard and Toolbox Hardware Kits are no-drill on most late model full size trucks, while Low Profile Hardware Kits require minimal drilling.
